In order to deliver effective facilities management, you may need to evaluate the current position of your business or your FM operation in order to make informed decisions about what services to offer to your customers and how best to deliver them. But where do you start? The SWOT Analysis is one tool that can assist you here.
SWOT stands for Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats and can help you identify both internal and external factors that might have an impact on the decisions you need to make. The SWOT analysis is used across organisations and within departments to evaluate a wide range of topics, particularly where decisions have to be made.
About this course
This course will consider exactly what a SWOT analysis actually is and how to undertake one. We look at the key differences between strengths and opportunities, weaknesses and threats, as well as considering the benefits of a team approach when carrying out the SWOT analysis.
By the end of the course, you’ll be confident in the use of the SWOT analysis and have a new tool in your kit that will help you evaluate the position of your organisation and make effective decisions for the future.
