The terms ‘Corporate Social Responsibility’ and ‘Environmental, Social and Governance’ – otherwise referred to as CSR and ESG – are often used interchangeably, but there is a distinct difference between the two.
Despite the very clear overlap in topics, initiatives, ethos and habits an organisation can take, the two don’t mean exactly the same thing.

This course will look at what the two terms mean, how they differ, what does ESG involve and what are the benefits to an organisation in adhering to the principles? By the end of this course you will understand the meaning of both CSR and ESG. You will recognise both the similarities and differences between the two terms and you’ll know what ESG actually involves.
