About this course

This course serves as an introduction to procurement in facilities management.

You’ll start by learning about the difference between purchasing and procurement (two terms often used interchangeably but which are actually quite distinct from each other).

You’ll then be introduced to the concept of the ‘5 Rights’ of procurement – 5 principles to bear in mind when conducting any procurement exercise in order to ensure that the goods and services you procure meet the standards you require and represent good value for money.
